Relief from the heat is expected to continue Saturday in the Houston area with showers and thunderstorms likely in the late morning and afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The forecast calls for highs Saturday in the upper 80s and a 60 percent chance of rain. Winds will be southeast at 5 mph to 10 mph.
