Miguel Sanchez, a 15-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, July 17, in the 11000 block of Tiara Street in North Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
The teenager was shot several times in the upper body about 8:30 p.m., said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Herrera said no suspect description was immediately available. Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.
