I sometimes hear from people who are trying to take a hard look at their cycle in order to figure out when they should conceive in order to get the baby gender that they are hoping for. I heard from a woman who said: "I have a 30 day cycle. What I mean by that is that my period starts on day 1 and, 31 days later, it begins again with another period. To make things simple, let's say that I start my period on January 1st and that my period is going to come again around the beginning of February. I'm assuming that I should have sex sometime in mid January. But when exactly is the optimal day if I am trying for a boy baby?"
